Camcode Global will be turning on Multi Factor authentication for our box.com account. This will require users to set it up on their next login after 1pm UK time on the 5th of June. It is a simple setup process using your Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Login to box
On your next login to box, you will be prompted with a QR code, please go to the authenticator app on your mobile device and click the plus symbol in the top left hand corner.
Now select the option Other (Google, Facebook, etc.)
Now you must use the QR scanner that the Microsoft Authenticator App opened up and center it on the QR code on your screen. This will add the box.com as an option on your authenticator app.
Use your TOKEN to login
The Microsoft Authenticator will provide you with a new TOKEN every 30 seconds and you will need to enter this on the next screen to gain access. You will also be automatically logged out of the system after your session has ended so you will need to get a new TOKEN to log into the system. The TOKEN is always 6 Digits long. The TOKEN in the next image will not work, you must use the TOKEN on your Mobile Device.
Enter the TOKEN on box.com along with your password. This will log you in and please go about your normal activities.
